Trip to Boston on Flickr
I took a trip to Boston to see my family. Got a chance to see the ‘Pompeii’ exhibit at the Museum of Science, Boston. Check out my flickr page for more!

Some finished work for a class project. Our group designed a network implementation for a mid-size company looking to replace their existing (insecure, non-reliable) infrastructure. I chose the products and drafted these for our ‘Sales Proposal’. Click the images for full size. [PDF]
They were chasing after Rod Blagojevich. He lives around here apparently…
Chicago weather in the spring is just awesome.
I've finally gotten around to updating my website. Ordinarily I'd have trouble considering something to be both new and improved, but in this case I'm willing to make an exception. I've had a website (or at least a URL) in some form or other for several months, but devoid of any actual... content. Now that I've put everything together the way I want, it's both new, and a significant improvment.
Check out some photography while you're here, too.
Cheers.
A time-lapse of the powerful blizzard that hit Chicago on Feb. 2, 2011. The snow falls relatively slowly during most of the night while the wind is howling. Wind gusts topped 60mph and the temperature hovered around 23°F. Around 9:30am on Feb. 2 a late snow blast hit, dropping another 1-2" in a very short time.
The neighbors all made a concerted effort to clean up around 11:00am.
This was taken in the North Center neighborhood. You can see more photos of the aftermath here: http://jchal.me/fzwNya
This was created with a Nikon D80, tethered to a Powerbook G4 running Sofortbild.
